Great debut for a new studio
Posted .Don't get me wrong, definitely a solid 9/10 game. Is it perfect? No. Is it pretty awesome? Yup. Don't expect an easy playthrough though, easiest difficulty had me die over 10 times, which I'm sure why a lot of people hate this game cause its either "buggy" or "too hard". Cannot wait for the NG+ mode coming in February, it's definitely going to add more lifespan to this badass game.

Great Start to a New Kind of Survival Horror
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed.Great and new survival-horror IP that is filled with phenomenal and frightening creature designs, an interesting story, plenty of scares, albeit running a tad linear but choke full of tension every step of the way. Controls reminded me of Silent Hill Homecoming, and is a bit difficult to master at first. You will get frustrated at first until you have mastery of the dodge mechanics and enemy attacks. Best part of the game? The many various death sequences based on enemy type—they’re very gruesome!

Great graphics, terrific story, absorbing!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed.Very solid game and I think fills a void for horror games that sits between doom and resident evil. It does have a hack-and-slash style of combat, but I'm a fan. Only once or twice did I feel like I had to follow a specific formula to get past a boss/area. I do like the dodging mechanic that so many dislike, but it does have issues if you are after multiple enemies. Switching weapons is slow along with health boosts. I understand they probably did this to make the game look more cinematic or add tension but during boss fights when you are using a lot of resources and need to switch weapons it gets frustrating. I think they should have implemented the slowed time like red dead or doom for the weapon switch at the very least. I'm glad this game is action-based and doesn't waste time having you circling a huge map to find clues or items needed for puzzles to progress. If you want that, there are plenty of resident evil games. This is an action-based horror game that I think sits nicely between Doom and Resident Evil. Yes, it's pretty linear, but because of that the environments look amazing and the pacing feels good, especially for a casual gamer.

Dead Space fans will like it
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed.I’m only a little more than an hour into it but am enjoying it so far. The graphics on Xbox Series X look amazing. The actors are immediately recognizable. The audio with surround sound adds to the ambiance and sense of dread. The controls are a little stiff for this generation of games I’d expect a little more these days but horror games are more about atmosphere than pure combat and this game so far definitely delivers on that. It feels like a spiritual successor to Dead Space in many ways. If you liked that game this one will be up your alley.

Space dream
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This is a good game definitely worth playing especially in a dark room . Only problem I came across was the glitch in the game that took you back to the main menu every time. I’m not sure if there was an update to fix the problem but if you look online you can find ways around it .

Amazing graphics with ok gameplay
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed.Gameplay mechanics are ok i felt like i was wasting ammo when i was trying to “force” grab enemies and the dodge mechsnic takes some getting used to. The graphics were stellar and the voice acting were top notch. This was a great giller for me while i wait on Dead Space and RE4 remake.

Good Game
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. Not perfect, but good for a playthrough. Mechanics could be better, including combat. I enjoyed the game, but playing it once was good enough for me.
