    Cat magnet

Best audio I've heard of all the headsets and headphones I've used. Only downside is it's a cat magnet. Legit my cat has chewed 2 of this headsets wires, original and a replacement, which the replacement you can find doesn't even fit the headset so I had to shave down the excess plastic so it could fit into my headsets poor tiny hole

Noise Canceling from a Reputed Brand

    |

I had been interested in purchasing an over-the-ear noise canceling headphone for a while but the price of the solid brands put me off. I walked into Best Buy and these were on clearance. Yes it is an older model with Bluetooth 4.2 but when you have a reputable brand, even their leftovers are going to be worth owning. The controls take a bit to get used to, but I tend to use my phone to select songs and see who's calling before I answer anything. The touch control tends to lead to some accidents when you're trying to adjust them on your head so that is definitely a pain the the rear. The NC activates as soon as you turn the power on so if you don't want it immediately you have to manually turn it off. I've also had it not respond to the touch control a few times too but I paid less than half of the original price so we'll see how it goes in the long run.

Good if you find them on sale

The ear cups are a little small for my big ears but the ear cups themselves are comfortable. The touch controls are kind of a pain. Sometimes it's hard to actually adjust what I want because they decided to put everything on the left ear. Buy them on sale. Also the audio Technica app doesn't recognize them so that sucks.

Fantastic sound. Very light weight unit. Feels good to wear and the noise cancelling is awesome. Easy to work and very happy with it. Best headphones we have owned so far.

It works really well. I work in a factory and can hear every thing. The only thing I wish it had was buttons insted of a touch pad. I have a hard time finding the pause area.

The included Aux cable is much thinner/lower quality than previous AT headphones I have owned, but I guess that can be expected as the main show is the wireless feature, which works well with no noticeable quality loss.

    Adjust your source settings

Very comfortable and great sound. Wasn't that impressed at first out of the box, but then I tweaked my eq and atmos settings on my phone, and then they really impressed. Upscaling with the included cable (not possible with bluetooth, cord only) also improves the sound, but only incrementally; in my opinion, not enough to warrant the loss of mobility bluetooth gives. I actually think they sound better with noise cancelling on rather than off, regardless of ambient noise. Way more comfortable and sound way better than the sennheiser 4.4 I also considered and returned once I heard these. As for the criticism about the controls- are you serious? I learned to love them in about a minute and a half. And no, I dont see the fingerprint problem some reviews mention, either. Or maybe I just wash my hands more than some users. For the $70 I paid on clearance down from $199, these are a serious no brainer-they're worth the original full price, even if I'm too cheap to ever have paid that, lol. By the way, I'm a tech director and use a lot of high end gear in sound and video editing, not a novice, and have no professional affiliation with A/T, just appreciate this product. I'll update this review if negatives do emerge though.

I have been looking into purchasing a new set of headphones for awhile now and in the time i have been looking i have tried quite a few sets out. And for the price point that these fall into they are an awesome purchase. The touch features mixed with solid audio and good noise canceling definitely swayed me toward these. The noise canceling isn't as good as the sony 1000XM2, which are $150 dollars more, but it still works extremely well with my head shape! If you are looking to save a couple bucks and still have excellent noise canceling then these are definitely should be on your radar.
