Great build, lacking video handle
||Posted .Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This tripod is awesome! Really solid feeling, you can tell the build is of quality, a far cry from some of the other tripods available at Best Buy IMHO. I love the different settings on the pivot points of the legs to give you tons of versatility in setup and height. It packs away nice and small and fits nicely (case included) into my northface backpacks water bottle holder for easy transportation My one complaint is the clunkiness of all of the adjustment pieces on the mount itself. I would like to see a boom handle for smooth panning when I have my go pro or phone mounted for videos. Don't get me wrong, the pivot action is smooth as butter, but you have to grab the actual base of the mount or camera itself to pivot it. For the DSLR it's excellent, and the fine adjustments of the controls work just fine.

The strongest tripod of them all!
||Posted .Owned for 2 months when reviewed. My girlfriend is an artist and I was looking for the sturdiest, outdoorsiest and user friendly tripod available for plein air paintings - this was the right choice. I used the quick connect plate that comes with it to attach a guerilla painter plein air painting box, filled with paint, brushes etc. to the top of it with no issues. She has used it on flat surfaces, softer sand, rocky mountains and more with no issues. This tripod (according to the specs) can support 2-3x the weight of other comparable models. I was impressed, she was happy and I am glad that I did my research.

Great for those who are ready
||Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This product is pretty great. I wish it had a feature to where I could flip the connecting part upside down so I could have low ground shots on a tripod. Other wise very sturdy and of quality, since this is my first 3 figure tripod purchase I can’t compare to others but I feel as though it’s not something to “ break the bank” for if you can find a nice $20-$75 ranged one

Joby, my boy, you did it again!
||Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This tripod is awesome and folds up really small. The head is super smooth and fits really tight even with a heavy lens. I use an a6400 with a sigma 16mm lens so it's pretty front-heavy for a mirrorless and this set up is great. It comes with a hook at the bottom as well so you can add weight to the tripod.

||Posted .Owned for 3 months when reviewed.Super sturdy love the release plate style i use with other things. The small leg did come off on me but I end up sticking back on but it is doing great so far.

JOBY RangePod Tripod
||Posted .Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.Product is good quality for amateur photographers. However, having seen a professional grade tripod, it is far from professional grade.

Likely designed by a real photographer
||Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed.Over the last 4 decades, I have owned a great number of tripods. With every one of them, there was always a quirk or 2 that I wished the manufacturers would have changed. This tripod was obviously designed by a real photographer. It is built such that I have no hesitation putting a several thousand dollar lens on top.
