||Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed.We were happy to be able to replace our dead refrigerator with this GE counter depth model on a timely basis with minimal remodeling. It has some nice features that include glass moveable shelves and a number of drawers as well as LED lighting. It was also nice to match the slate color to the stove and above the range microwave that had been replaced in the last coupleof years - only GE offers this option. Only time will tell about quality and value, but so far so good.

Fine fridge
||Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed.Not a bad fridge. Had to get a GE service tech to immediately come out due to the fridge not maintaining a cold temp. Would fluctuate up to 45 degrees. The tech said there was a software update to address warm fridge temps. He installed the software update via his laptop and it’s chilled much better since. I wouldn’t have known there was an update without the tech visit, and you can’t update it yourself, so that’s a bit inconvenient. Overall good fridge since that visit. Doors are a bit light and can slam open because of that.

Great for small spaces.
||Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed.A lot of nice features. It keeps the temperature at 37 and adjusts as needed. Lots of big door space to place items. The ability to make a 1/2 shelf for milk is ideal. The freezer is small and I feel the ice cube collection container should be smaller and give more room to actual freezer. I do feel it would have been to my advantage to be able to see the model in the store, therefore, and is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.

Freezer is a problem
||Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed.The fridge is great, nice lighting but do wish the doors would stay wide open, they don’t. The freezer is not the best. Not easy to access. If it could open wider or tilt out a bit I think that would help. You can hardly breach the things in the back of the top basket.

Our best recommendation is to make sure the unit is properly leveled. The front of the unit should be 1/4" higher than the back to make sure the doors are closing and opening properly. Q: QuestionIs the fridge on 4 plastic rollers or 4 adjustable feet? I bought a Samsung and all wheels are cheep plastic and it sits at a 2 1/2 inch backward slant that can not be adjusted. Can this fridge be adjust to have just the slight slant needed?

- A:Answer Hi Rollarskatefridge- The refrigerator is equipped with rear rollers and 2 front adjustable leveling legs. Q: QuestionWill I be able to access deli drawer completely without door at 90 degree's? Also will I be able to move shelves around with out door open 90 degree's. I have window on one side of fridge

- A:Answer To pull bottom deli drawer out 1/2 to 3/4 way, the fridge only needs 1 inch of space on it's side to the wall. If the drawer is to be pulled out all the way, you need at least 11 inches of space. Same with veggie/fruit drawers. Shelves can be moved around as long as one door is able to be fully opened. Hope this helps.

Slate is a highly engineered, low-gloss matte metallic paint finish and will hold a magnet. It resists fingerprints and doesn't show dirt.
