||Posted .The refrigerator is a counter depth unit and is 33" wide. There aren't many choices in this size and if I had 36" there would be more choices and less expensive.

Great refrigerator for a small space.
||Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed.What I like is that you can see everything clearly; no more hidden food. And that the lights are bright. The freezer is not that roomy but good enough for two people. According to the picture on website an ice bin was to be included to use to store extra ice cubes, but was not delivered with the refrigerator. I called about it and was told it did not come with that particular model. My suggestion- please remove the storage bin from the picture. Casey delivered my fridge and he was very mannerly, careful and knowledgeable. Thank you Casey.

Handles not secure
||Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed.The handles are not secure and fall off when you touch them. I made an appointment with the geek squad to come back to fix the issue and the window was from 12-6pm. At 6:40pm, I called to ask what is the issue, why they still hadn't arrived and I was told that the window was from 12-8pm. I have a text from them reminding me of the appointment window that clearly states 12-6pm. Other than that... the refrigerator is good. 1 star for geek squad. 5 stars for in store clerk who helped me with my purchase.

Good refrigerator, but smaller than I thought.
||Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed.The refrigerator works great, however buying online is a little harder than seeing it in person. It's smaller than we expected but didn't do the correct measurements compared to the old one. It's a fine refrigerator for old people who shouldn't have so much stuff anyway. We especially like the ice and water dispenser on the front and the buttons to push are much better than the old one.

Nice smaller sized fridge

If it were for every day use id probably recommend a larger fridge with more interior space. Another thing, I cannot get the handles to stay on. Ive followed the directions provided but thry don't stay on. Putting in a call to geek squad, who delivered it

Too small

Great Fridge But Not For Big Family
||Posted .We bought this fridge for our new house. I don't know what the builder was thinking, but both the width and depth of the space for the refrigerator was limited. This made us look at counter depth refrigerators, and this one happened to be 33" wide as well. Things didn't start out well. The fridge was delivered and looked great, but when we put it in place we couldn't level it. I had a pro look at it and he showed me where the fridge had been dropped and the bottom frame bent. Here is the part where I'm glad I bought it at Best Buy. We called and they replaced it right away, no hassles at all. Now for the fridge itself: The outside looks great (black stainless) and doesn't show fingerprints or smudges. The doors are level and close easily. All of the shelves fit properly. The ice maker and electronics on the door work well, though I have to say that the temperature setting isn't accurate. I had to turn it down to 34 to get a temp of 37. The ice maker spout gets a B- for not channeling ice directly into the glass. You have to hold it very close to the spout. The water is cold and tastes great. The capacity of this refrigerator will be its downfall for some folks. There is just my wife and I and my son who occasionally drops by and raids the fridge. It works out fine for us, especially since we have a second fridge in the garage. This fridge will probably just barely cut it for a family of four, and even then your extra large pizza box won't fit and your space for leftovers will be limited. You can fit a gallon milk carton on the door, but I took out a top shelf on the left side to accommodate soda bottles. All in all, this fridge worked out great for us. Your mileage may vary.

- A:Answer Hi DrDrBigDog - Thanks for choosing GE! Some Bottom Freezer refrigerators have temperature controls located exterior of the fresh food compartment. The temperature display is off during normal operation unless one of the temperature adjustment pads are pressed (Freezer/Fridge). The temperature adjustment only goes one direction. When you keep pressing the Fridge or Freezer pad, the temperature setting will go up until it reaches the maximum limit and then starts over at the lowest limit. It is not unusual to see a few drops of water dripping from the dispenser after having dispensed water. This is caused by pressure on the water line and changes in temperature causing some condensation to form and drip. - A:Answer The depth of the refrigerator compartment without the doors is 23.5 inches. Remember that cords and water lines must fit between the refrigerator and the wall behind it. In our kitchen that means that the front of the refrigerator compartment without the doors can be a little behind the counter top, which is 26.25 inches deep. Although the doors with their hinges and handles extend beyond the counter top, we don't think that detracts from the attractiveness of the refrigerator. We are pleased with it and with the service of Best Buy in selling and installing it. Here are our measurements: wall to refrigerator compartment +/- 2.75"|refrigerator compartment 23.5"|door hinges .5"|door at outward curve 3"|handles 2.5."
