QuestionDoes the recipient of the card have to give Spotify a credit card number to set up an account before using the gift card? Or can they just use the card without giving Spotify a credit card number? Some people might balk at that.
- Answer No credit card needed my son loves how you just by the card and that’s it
QuestionWhen I buy this gift card, does it already come with the money or I have to pay two times? For example, I pay $60 dollars for the gift card and then I need to add $60 more dollar to that gift card? Or I only buy it and just use it? (I'm new to this)
- Answer You have $60 on that card and it can only be used at Best Buy no need to add anymore money unless the $60 has been spent.
- Answer No. Learned this the hard way after purchasing two of these cards over the Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales. Card CANNOT be redeemed on a Premium Family Account. This is nowhere in the description on Best Buy's website. From back of gift card: "This card is redeemable for full price standalone Premium subscription months purchased directly from spotify.com and cannot be redeemed for discounted or group subscriptions (more on eligibility at www.spotify.com/gift-card)." From Spotify's website when a gift card code is not working: "Codes are not redeemable for Premium for Family or in conjunction with other discounts and promotions."
