Amazing sound for it's size
||Posted .Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. These Klipsch Reference R-41PM bookshelf speakers give out an amazing amount sound for it's size and price. If you like the Klipsch sound signature you'll like these little bookshelf speakers. If you really want fuller sound, then connect a sub-woofer and you'll a great speaker system. The mid-bass is actually pretty good for a 4 inch woofer. The larger R-51PM will have better bass but it also cost a bit more. I think the remote works well also. A very value in my opinion. Glad I purchase these Klipsch speakers.

Quality With Klipsch
||Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed.Really great powerful speakers. I originally got them for my ATLPXBT turntable, but the versatile connectability lets me just play music straight from my phone, which is how I use them most of the time now. They’re on the pricier side, but super worth it.

Great for a turntable without receiver.
||Posted .Owned for 2 months when reviewed.Just picked up a turntable, and bought these with a built in amp to hear my records. Bluetooth works with most newer devices. Look great. Having a remote is sweet too.

Versatile!
||Posted .I've had these Klipsch speakers now for a month, and they were well worth the price. My situation: trying to downsize from a huge entertainment center that housed huge 70s Yamaha speakers, receiver, turntable, CD player, etc. Bingo!!!! With these nicely sized Klipsch speakers I was able to get rid of the speakers AND the receiver. Yes! I can hook up both CD player and turntable and no more receiver necessary! They have so many connection options, Bluetooth being a huge plus. Audio may not be as SUPER as were the old Yamaha speakers, but I was able to play the old Christmas records and very happy. Oh I'm 61-year-old woman, and I found them easy to connect and use. Yep, I recommend.

great for playing my jazz records
||Posted .Owned for 1 week when reviewed. These sounds great! I use them with my record player which is typically playing jazz albums. The lowest frequency of this item goes down to 76 Hz. Even though the double bass lowest note is about 40Hz it still seems to give a great balance of all instruments in a common jazz ensemble. I recommend pairing this with a sub if you are interested in playing movies or music styles that have electric bass instruments.

I bought these as they are powered and I was able to use them without needing a receiver. They look great and sound even better. I enjoy using them to listen to my limited record collection as well as using Spotify via Bluetooth. These are versatile and very high quality.

Q: QuestionAll the specs say for the amplifier power on these speakers is 35 watts. Does that mean 35 watts per channel to each speaker or total of 35 Watts split meaning 17.5 watts per channel to each speaker?
Asked by philsince59.
- A:Answer 35 watts per channel

Q: QuestionWill these speakers electronically pair singly? If I put one in one room of my condo, for sound masking, can I set another one up elsewhere and pair them to Bluetooth individually? I usually buy these singly, so just wondering. Thanks folks!
Asked by Stanner.
- A:Answer No. They’re hardwired together. The right speaker has the amplifier and receiver built in to it. The left is just a regular speaker.

Q: QuestionI am not knowledgable about this at all- but I have a Yamaha CD-C600 5 Disc CD Changer. Can I use these speakers with that? Do I need anything else in addition? Does it matter that these are Bluetooth?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Yes you can connect your CD player directly to these speakers with either an optical cable (recommended) or RCA (red and white) plugs. Because the speakers are powered, you do not need anything else (other than plugging them into the wall for power). It does not matter that the powered speakers are Bluetooth capable - it is just one input choice that you can use or not use as you like. The Klipsch speakers let you choose which input you want to use to output sound through the speakers, so you can hook up several devices if you want to and choose which one you want to use at any time. Bluetooth is just one of those inputs. Hope this helps.

Q: QuestionNot savoy about speakers. Have 6 speakers already, front, rear, center sub. Wanting to round out 7.2 channel system with a Onkyo Tx-NR686 receiver. Are these the appropriate type? Read once the last set of speakers sit behind you & point toward ceiling.
Asked by lordzues.
- A:Answer It sounds like right now you are running a 5.1 speaker set up - front left, center, front right, surround left, surround right, and a subwoofer. (The subwoofer is the .1 in the 5.1 setup). Your Onkyo receiver can power 7 speakers and run 2 subwoofers, so it is described as a 7.2 receiver. These Klipsch speakers are powered, so they are not what you need to take your system from 5.1 to 7.1. Your receiver can already power 7 speakers. Passive speakers (not powered) are more appropriate for your arrangement. The manual for your receiver gives examples of how to hook up the speakers and where to place them. Hope this helps.

Q: QuestionWhich connection method would be the best audio quality for playing music from my computer: Usb, Bluetooth, or 3.5 Aux?
Asked by GuitarPlayer.
- A:Answer I would use usb , I've used all three and they all sound good but usb has higher bandwidth than the others and will have the lowest latency.

Q: QuestionSince the amplifier is in only one of the speakers, I assume that they have to be manually connected (wired) to each other, correct? I would prefer if each had its own power cable and could be plugged in individually, but I am assuming they cannot.
Asked by CMH.
- A:Answer You are correct, the passive speaker must be manually connected to the powered speaker.

Q: QuestionAre these true stereo?
Asked by Musegal.
- A:Answer Yes. Two channels, left and right. Your question is a little confusing. You can buy $10 speaker sets that are "true stereo." What is "true" stereo?
