I’m a new great grandmother! What an interesting time with all the technology available. When I saw this item, I was fascinated. My strength isn’t what it once was and I feared that holding my great grandson for long periods might be a bit difficult now. The mamaroo arrived two days after the new baby. It was very simple to set up. We got it plugged in and downloaded the app. It synced right up to my iPhone. I love the sounds it plays, especially the “heartbeat.” The ability to use it to play lullaby’s via the built in speakers and a MP3 player is nice. The movements are clearly well thought out and very smooth. There are several different movements that mimic rocking, swaying and even car rides. All of these are easily set or changed via the app. The new great grand baby loved it. We put him in and set the heartbeat sound and swaying movement, he was asleep in seconds. Of course I DID hold him close to my heart for a little while before trying out the new mamaroo. It also synced to my sons iPhone easily as well. It seems a bit pricy for young parents to buy, but that’s why we greatgrands and grandparents ar good to keep around. This is being used for his nighttime naps as well. Guess folks don’t use bassinets anymore. I think this is a great addition for new parents.

My 3month old baby absolutely loves this swing. As soon as I put her in there she started smiling. I have a very colic baby thats hard to keep her content but this swing makes her so happy, it makes her feel like she is in the car. The speaker is terrible along with the sounds. You can only plug it to your phone if you have a headphone input. The toys are not moble, and the material is not soft, its a rough material like a rain jacket. I wish they would of put cusion where her feet is at so she's not banging her feet on the base. Other than, it was worth buying it for my little, I just wish it wasnt expensive. It just swinging my baby to sleep. As long she is happy and able to fall asleep while I can get things done, I'm glad I bought it for her. It may not work for all babies, but it worked for her so much since she likes being swung, or car rides.

My sister swears by this baby swing! She said that some nights it is the only thing to get her baby to sleep. My mom and her husband want an adult-sized version to sleep in as well.

The mamaroo 4 is surprisingly lightweight compared to similar products from competitor but the unique humanlike movements is what makes it special and it stands out. The mamaroo comes in a compact box and is very easy to assemble. It takes around 15 minutes to go through the instructions and set it up. The seat is very plush and also reclines completely to adjust to any position. There are 3 toy balls that can be attached above to position over the babys head to entertain the baby. The balls are multicolored and each one is different, crinkle, rattle and mirror. The mamaroo 4 is bluetooth enabled and you can control motion and sound form a tablet or a phone. It also has soothing sounds built-in and also an option to plug in mp3 if needed. However the humanlike movements is no doubt the best feature and it simulates free swing, kangaroo hop, car ride, wave and rock-a-bye. This definitely keeps the baby comfortable and amused. After a week of use we found that the baby would fall asleep in about 10 minutes which would take mom around 30 on the lap otherwise. This is an excellent product and a must have for busy moms and dads.

The 4moms MamaRoo is incredible for soothing my 1 month old. The black and white or vibrant colored balls keep her entertained long enough for me to cook dinner! The app for the phone is incredibly easy to use. I love having the ability to connect to the MamaRoo though my phone to change the settings! The only improvement they can make for this is making the seat adjustable in the direction it faces. This would make the MamaRoo perfect! I have found the best motion for my infant is the “Car-Ride” feature set to level 2. This particular feature allows her to sleep! Another aspect of the MamaRoo I really love is how light weight it is. I can easily move it room to room without it taking too much time or energy. This is a very well designed product overall! You won’t regret purchasing it.

So let me start off saying, my baby would never let me put him down, because he never liked just sitting/laying still. He ALWAYS wanted to be held and moving. Does anyone have a solution??? YUP! The 4moms mamaRoo sure does. He loves it. He really, really loves it. I can finally set him down in it, and get him to fall asleep in it, whereas before I had to pace around the room, bouncing and rocking him to sleep. Then I had to figure out a way to lay him down, without him waking up. YEAH, not an easy task. This is literally a marriage saver. I can finally get more sleep, and neither of us (mama/daddy) are as crabby anymore. I love that the unit has an app that I can change the setup and different rocking/bouncing patterns. My son has tried the swing, but the constant same feeling got old after a while, so he was ok for a little bit, but after a few minutes, he realized I was walking around, and he was doing the same thing over and over. This 4moms mamaRoo totally changed my daily routine. I can actually get laundry done, and sit to have a coffee. Yeah, that is right....SIT and have a coffee. The app allows me to change speed, the motion, sounds, and volume of the music/sounds. That way, I can change things up, if he starts to get fussy. The mobile attachment is 3 little soft egg-like things. Yellow, magenta and cyan. The baby seat movements are like either a car ride, kangaroo, tree swing, rock-a-bye or a circle wave. My son likes the Kangaroo and car ride the best. They replicate my movements the most, and are the least monotonous of the selections. Being able to slowly change the speed is great. I can tell if he is falling asleep, I can slow it down to a stop, then let him sleep soundly. I love this device. Thank you 4moms mamaRoo. Well worth the price.

This is the Iron Man 'suit' for a baby, but as a chair/seat. Or the equivalent of Batman's Batmobile for babies. It's really a sweet ride that I wish I had as a baby, but I guess I wouldn't really know either way since I don't remember being a baby... But nonetheless, to not get technical, it's like a comfortable roller coaster for a baby, with the mamaRoo being able to move in a variety of directions. The material is soft and comfortable. All that it's missing is the ability to move around like a Roomba.
